The Pavo Pico is an excellent fpv platform and would
Recommend to anyone. Beta fpv always make quality
Products this is the same. Thanks beta fpv!
I wasn't sure at first, but took a chance since I wanted both a tiny drone that I could fly inside and near people, but also a drone with HD footage. This is the best of both worlds. It is a blast to fly, and is very easy for a novice like me to control.
I do wish that BetaFPV would include their PIDs, but I'm guessing it is something that exists in the stock firmware. I should have saved it before upgradeing BetaFlight.
I also need to play around with rates, another thing I think BetaFPV could have done. Need one for flying inside, and one for flying outside / acro.
Beware, BetaFPV ships these from China, so you'll need to be patient to receive your drone. There are other retailers that sell it within the states.
I like that it comes with some protection for the DJI O3 camera, but found it challenging to push on. And when it is pushed on, it seems you can't use the lens covers. I was able to modify it and still use mine, but that could have been planned better.
Frame too frigel, the 03 heat is an issue
it was not the right choice for me.
The Pavo Pico powered by 2s LiPos is probably the most O3 fun you can have just cuisine around with the lowest possible foot print. But I did want more ompfff. So I was a little disappointed. The Pavo pico is not an agil freestyle whoop. I orderer just some days later a pavo 20. 3s. Same concept just a little larger but with exactly that power, I was looking for. The Pavo 20 beats the pico in almost every aspect, except size and weight.
So in case you are looking for the smallest, lightest o3 carrier that simply works. Get a pico. If size is debatable but agility not. Grap a pavo 20 and leave the pico out.
