VR03 FPV Goggles
Newly developed by BETAFPV, and based on VR02 FPV Goggles, the VR03 FPV Goggles take features of VR02 and come with a DVR recording function. This exciting function allows pilots to catch the memorably breathtaking moment, greatly heightening the FPV flying experience.
Bullet Point
- External high-quality 5.8G 3dBi antenna is included. VR03 Goggles feature an omnidirectional antenna, which radiates and receives signals equally in 360-degree horizontal directions, for stable video transmission and vivid images when flying.
- The replaceable antenna design makes it possible for pilots to try various antennas for different use. Also, pilots can adjust the angle of the antenna.
- With 4.3 inches 800*480px HD high brightness LCD, VR03 Goggles will show you a bright world without warped and blurred images, which is specially tuned for FPV racing or Model airplanes.
- Reserving a Micro SD card slot, pilots can record video and save it on the Micro SD card. Also, the video can be replayed through the VR03 Goggles.

They are very good paired with meteor85 elrs
Very positive and simple setup as well as maintenance. Good quality display and mirror inside. For such price for FPV beginners - best choice.
Very good for the price
Hello friend! I bought this helmet as part of the Cetus X kit. Let's be brief and to the point:
Pros:
1. These are cool goggles for the price, especially if it's your first purchase.
2. The display resolution is sufficient for comfortable flying.
2. Possibility to replace the antenna (although the one that comes with it is of excellent quality).
3. Cetus X - flight range up to 600-800m with a clear picture (just remember the position of the antenna, the correct channel selection, etc.).
4. Great DVR recording (I bought it specifically for this feature).
5. Sufficient battery capacity, but remember that recording will reduce the operating time by half, so don't record DVR unless necessary.
6. Very convenient channel switching.
Cons: (as if there could be none)
1. IMPORTANT! - Never turn off the goggles while recording, otherwise you will lose all recordings! I think it's a bug, just remember that you can only turn off the goggles when not recording.
2. The iron bracket for the strap on top of the goggles is very annoying, had to modify it.
3. Unfortunately, there is currently no way to install a second antenna (I would have been willing to pay more for these goggles if they had the option for two antennas. This is sorely missed).
4. There are no nose pads.
5. Auto-signal search is absolutely useless, it's better to do everything manually.
6. It's a shame that due to the Type-C, it's only possible to charge and there's no access to the storage. You have to remove the flash drive every time.
P.S. Overall, they are great goggles for beginners for the price.
I know it's low budget and for beginners but my critics are not expensive to implement:
Criticism on high level:
1) It seems like the 640x480p (4:3) Video is streched to the 800x480p Display ? However, I don't think stretching is as good as keeping the original aspect ratio. Even if you use less display. I'll try to see if it's possible to set the original (4:3 ?) aspect ratio. Or can it be that the video is really sent and displayed in native NSTC 800x480 ? I'm not sure but it looks very slightly distorted (circles are ellipses). But it's hard to spot. DVR recording is definitly in 4:3.
2) And I think there is a slight overscan in it. Because when I make the OSD font all the way up, it rid it slightly clipped in the googles view. But in the DVR recording everything is fine. So you lose a bit of lines in the top with this googles ?
3) I only know if the battery of the googles is full or empty. What is also missing is an external charge level display with at least one 4-segment LED. So you could theoretically charge or discharge the glasses to 50-75% for a good storage voltage.
4) It could also have higher brightness.
I will probably give my nephew these googles at some point and get myself a good pair of digital-analogue hybrid glasses.
Nevertheless, it is a good product to get started and test if FPV is really a hobby that you want to do permanently. You can still gift it to some kids for e.g. FPV-cars... or use it as spare googles (it is always good to have 2 devices for testing) or googles for your real-time spectator.
