Being the first to market! SuperP 14CH Diversity Receiver has been designed not only for long-range flying, aerial photography but also suitable for the application of fixed-wing, helicopters, RC cars, boats and etc. It has TCXO oscillator, two antennas, dual receiver chains, and Plug-N-Play ports, and adds more features, which support 14 channels for the external barometer, RGB light strip, and other external sensors that are currently under development. It offers 2.4GHz, 915MHz and 868MHz versions, and greatly fulfills the requirements of reliability for long-range flying, aerial photography, or FPV freestyle tricks. With this receiver, users are able to get a more stable and reliable experience on RC models.

  • Featuring 14 PWM channels, this receiver is suitable for different applications. It can drive up to 14 servos, allowing for more complex and precise control. In addition, an external sensor such as a barometer, current sensor, etc, is also supported.

Know More About the TCXO

SuperP 14CH Diversity Receiver is built-in a TCXO (temperature compensated crystal oscillator), which is shared by two RF chips for a super accurate clock source. The true diversity receiver including two RF chips and PA+LNA will generate a large amount of heat when working. Note: F1000 and F500 are packet rates in FLRC mode, providing faster modulation and lower latency, but at the same time having shorter reception distance than normal Lora mode. This mode is great for racers.

D500 and D250 are packet rates in DVDA (Deja Vu Diversity Aid) mode. This mode works at the F1000 data packet rate of FLRC mode, providing better link connection in the case of complex interference by sending the same data packet multiple times. D500 and D250 indicate that the same data packet is sent twice and four times respectively.

D50 is an exclusive mode under ELRS 900M. It will send packets four times repeatedly under 200Hz Lora Mode. Its receiving distance is equivalent to 200Hz.

100Hz Full is the mode that can achieve 16-channel full resolution output at the 200Hz packet rates of Lora mode. Its receiving distance is equivalent to 200Hz.

Port Configuration

Enter the configuration page via WiFi mode.

  • Power on the receiver and wait for 60 seconds without binding to any transmitted equipment;
  • Once the RGB indicator is in slow green flashing, the receiver's WiFi has been activated;
  • Connect WiFi via cellphone or PC (WiFi name: ExpressLRS RX, password: expresslrs) ;
  • Open the website address: http://10.0.0.1/hardware.html

On the configuration page, users can set the PWM pin, CRSF pin, I2C pin, etc. The pin number corresponds to specified channels. You can refer to the chip I/O function table.

Note: VBAT is the battery voltage detection port, which supports 1~6S battery voltage detection.

When the RX is configured to use CRSF output, CH13 becomes RX and CH14 becomes TX.

When the RX is configured to use SBUS output, CH13 has no output, and CH14 becomes SBUS.

The CH11 and CH12 of the receiver have been configured as I2C serial ports by factory default. At this time, CH13 becomes CH11, and CH14 becomes CH12. 

For example, I2C communication serial port settings are as follows:

  • Delete 19 and 22 in the PWM output pin 
  • Put 19 and 22 into the SCL and SDA pin of the I2C 
  • Click "SAVE TARGET CONFIGURATION" to complete the setting of the I2C communication serial port

Note: The CH11 and CH12 of the receiver have been configured as I2C serial ports by factory default. Then CH13 becomes CH11, and CH14 becomes CH12.

Binding Procedure

The default firmware of the SuperP 14CH Diversity Receiver uses the ExpressLRS V3.3.0 protocol and has no preset binding phrase. Therefore, the firmware version of the transmitter module must be ExpressLRS V3.0.0 or later versions. Both the receiver and transmitter module should not have any binding phrase.

  • Power on and off the receiver 3 times, each step pausing 2 seconds to enter binding mode;
  • When the indicator starts fast blink with orange twice, the receiving is at binding mode;
  • Enter the radio or transmitter module's binding mode to bind with the receiver; if the Indicator has turned solid, it indicates that the device has been bound successfully.

Note: After the device has been successfully bound, the receiver will record the device, and future binding will be automatic. There would be no need to go through the binding process again.

Failsafe and Channel Output Settings

The setting method is as follows:

  • After the receiver is powered on, wait for 60 seconds without connecting the remote control
  • The RGB indicator enters the green slow flashing state, and the receiver automatically turns on WiFi (WiFi name: ExpressLRS RX, WiFi password: ExpressLRS)
  • Use a mobile phone or computer to connect to WiFi, and log in to http://10.0.0.1 with a browser to find the model page 


Failsafe settings are as follows: The output value of the servo can be obtained when the out-of-control protection value is inputted and the system goes out of control.

Note: Do not click "Reverse". If you click the "750us", the failsafe value needs to be halved. When the failsafe value is greater than 1500, the mode will automatically switch to "On/Off" mode.

Channel output settings are as follows: Select the desired mode from the dropdown menu of the mode, and the following are descriptions of all output modes.

  • 50-400Hz: output PWM signal frequency
  • 10KHzDuty: used to directly drive micro-motors
  • ON/OFF: output high-level or low level
  • Serial TX/RX: Serial communication port

CRSF/SBUS output settings are specified below:

  • Set the mode of channel 13 to serial RX or set the mode of channel 14 to Serial TX
  • Select the serial port protocol in Serial Protocol, and click "SAVE" to save the settings
  • Set the baud rate on the options page (the SBUS serial protocol cannot set the baud rate)
  • Click "SAVE&REBOOT" to complete the setting of the CRSF/SBUS output

    Note: When the receiver is configured to use CRSF output, CH13 becomes RX and CH14 becomes TX; When the receiver is configured to use SBUS output, CH13 has no output, and CH14 becomes SBUS.

      1.2 Track Package

      After the order is shipped, you will receive a notification email containing the tracking number (you need to register BETAFPV website when placing the order).

      Or log in to your BETAFPV account and look at your order history which will show if it was shipped and provide a tracking link, if available, given your selected shipping methods. If your order status shows shipped but you do not see tracking that means your order is packaged and will be shipped shortly. If your status is processing it means that we have received your order and will be shipping as soon as possible.

      You can also enter the tracking number to check your package shipment status below. Please contact BETAFPV customer support for help if you are not able to track it.

      1.3 Batteries Shipping

      Some countries or remote regions are forbidden to ship stand-alone batteries due to restricted Customs rules.

      We will notify you if we are unable to ship batteries to your location. For expedited shipping like DHL, stand-alone batteries are prohibited to be shipped.Devices packed with less than or equal to two batteries like drones are available to be shipped. Devices in which Batteries contained like transmitters or goggles are accepted to be shipped without limits.

      Battery Type Definitions

      • Stand-alone: Package ONLY contains batteries or cells; NO equipment
      • Packed with: Package contains equipment + cells or batteries that are NOT installed in the equipment. For example, BNF drones with batteries or RTF drone kits.
      • Contained in: Package has lithium batteries contained in equipment (properly installed in the equipment they are intended to operate). For example, radio transmitter or goggles.

      2.Shipping Method and Fee

      2.1 Standard Shipping

      We offer free standard shipping on orders of $99.99 or more. If your order does not qualify for free shipping, the shipping fee will be charged $5 on orders of $20 - $99.98; charged $10 on orders of less than $20. (Shipping fee will be different when delivering to remote countries/regions.)

      Products with big volume are excluded from free shipping rule due to dimensional weight calculated by shipping company.

      2.2 Expedited Shipping

      We offer expedited shipping service worldwide including islands area. The shipping fee will be shown on the check-out page once the expedited shipping method is chosen.

      Note: Purchasers are responsible for customs duties, taxes, customs clearance and other costs incurred when choosing expedited shipping.

      2.2 Additional Shipping Fee

      There are certain situations where you may be required to pay extra shipping fees.

      Expedited Shipping with Batteries: When choosing expedited shipping and placing an order that includes more than 2 batteries, which unfollows the 1.3 Batteries Shipping policy, an extra shipping fee will be applied to cover the separate shipping of the batteries.

      Reshipping Costs: Packages returned due to incorrect customer-provided addresses or the customs clearance cannot be completed due to customer-related issues, need to be reshipped will be subject to an additional shipping charge.

      3.1 How long until my order ships?

      All orders will be processed within 1-2 working days after your payment.

      If we are experiencing a high volume of orders or some products on back order, shipments may be delayed by a few days.

      If there will be a significant delay in the shipment of your order, we will contact you via email. Please make sure your email address is available and remember to check the email for the notification.

      3.2 After I place an order, how do I change my order before shipment?

      3.3 How do I cancel after I have placed the order, but it has not shipped?

      My first choice Rx

      Excellent receiver for all fixed wing models with enough room in its fuselage. My wish is to see a smaller SuperP with 8 PWM channels to fit in smaller fuselages which many gliders have. For such cut off channels 10, 9, 8 and 13, delete the RGB connector and move the 4-pin I2C connector to the back side between the two antennas.

      Just the receiver we have been waiting for a long time!!

      This is exactly the ELRS receiver we airplane people have been waiting for!
      The casing is solid, good looking and servo connectors fits well. As a PWM receiver I will rather call this a 12 channel receiver, beceuse channel 11 and 12 is hard to use with the small connector on the side, but for SBUS/CRSF... it's off course 16 channel. It's brilliant to have the SBUS output on a real servo port. This makes use of SBUS servos or gyros running SBUS/CRSF really easy. Then no extra power for running servos are needed.
      USB-C connection for updating firmware really makes updating a breeze. I can only find one small downside on this receiver, and that is the rather high current consumption (180mA) compared to most other receivers (typical 60-90mA). This is really no problem at all for most of us, but for those using separate receiver battery, might need to take this into consideration when choosing battery size on certain applications. Just good to be aware of it.
      Anyway, thanks to BETAFPV for finally making this great real diversity PWM airplane receiver! Really looking forward to fly a lot with it.

      Hey dear, Channels 11 and 12 are compromises for connecting external sensors, such as connecting a barometer to grasp flight altitude information. And the power consumption is mainly consumed by the 2 RF links, but it can improve signal stability : )
